Coaching Services

Your needs and goals will determine the best way to structure our reporting relationship, but I generally offer 3 types of arrangements:

Retained Coaching

This is the most common arrangement, in which I charge a monthly fee for a minimum of 3 months. The fee depends on the management level of the client (which is directly related to the complexity of their challenges), the length of the retainer, and their scheduling needs. A typical arrangement includes a 60-90 minute phone or Skype session every other week (with additional access via email and phone between sessions), review of resume, LinkedIn profile and cover letters, if applicable.

“Workout” Packages

If you haven’t interviewed for a new job in a while and an opportunity suddenly presents itself, it can feel like running a 10K after being a couch potato for months. For clients who just need an “emergency shape-up” session to prepare for a presentation, practice for an interview or work on a cover letter, I offer individual sessions and packages of 2-3 sessions. Fees depend on services needed.

Critique Services

I have so frequently been asked to provide this service that I have finally decided to offer it as part of my Coaching practice (and charge for it!). You use the following tools to market yourself as a potential employee and a leader in your field.  Over time they can become stale. It pays to invest in yourself and freshen them up to reflect your desired brand image.

Resume and LinkedIn Profile Critique

1st ImpressionYour resume is usually the first impression – and often the only impression – a recruiter or prospective employer will have, unless it captures their attention. The same goes for your LinkedIn profile, which is, whether you like it or not, your online resume. So make sure that they are both working hard to set you apart and articulate the unique value you can provide.

Cover Letters

A good cover letter can increase the chance that your resume gets opened. I offer a cover letter template that gets candidates noticed and has received positive feedback from recruiters and employers. I show you the trick to getting your cover letter noticed, and critique your draft.
